Contemplation of Love...

It felt so right....

Time, when we're together

where does it go?

slips through our hands

this much I do know

I've held him in my arms

mesmerized by his charms

I felt his gentle touch

I knew that I loved him

and that he loved me just as much

The way he caressed my skin

held my face, touched my hair

and with his tender kiss

gently touching my brow

He showed me that he cared

and he taught me how

to share my heart

and I let him come in

to make himself at home

alone with him

And it felt so right.....

Sometimes late at night

when I'm alone in the

moon and firelight

I let myself think of him

and all the things that

might have been

and I recall....it all

The passion that we felt

the love that we shared

I know that he cared

and it felt so right....

I know that I was his

and his love was mine

so much in love...

for it felt so divine..

the time I spent with him

within love's fine light

will forever within

for it feels so right....

I Have Loved You

I can feel you, almost see you

Your love calls to me

from across the distance

In the misty meadows

and the sunlit shadows

If I could touch you

I would hold you

Soft and gently

Close to me now

And never let you go

I would whisper

that I have loved you

You have made me happy

And the time and distance

that separates us

Soon, My love

They will come to an end

Our time will come

We will not be kept apart

And Oh, I will hold you

and I will kiss you

As I look to the day

when I am yours

and you are mine

For I have loved you

and I have held you

in my dreams and in my heart

where we are never distant

or far apart.
