I saw today the beauty of a lake

as sun did set

playing across the waters

a brilliant hue

with colors so soft

that gentleness

comes to heart and mind

and reminds me of

love that is true

that all hope to find

as they paddle

their life's canoe

across turbulent waters

ever moving

to a better and happier shore

the kind of view

that you wish to impress

upon heart and mind for evermore.

to worry

when your health

or happiness is concerned

to laugh and rejoice

as things go very well
