The Wind's not always at our Back
The wind's not always at our back
the sky is not always blue.
Sometimes we crave the things we lack
and don't know what to do.
Sometimes life's an uphill ride
with mountains we must climb.
At times the river's deep and wide
and crossing takes some time.
No one said that life is easy
there are no guarantees.
So trust the lord continually
on calm or stormy seas.
The challenges we face today
prepares us for tomorrow.
For faith takes our fears away
and peace replaces sorrow.

WITH ALL THE LOVE HE HAD
The woman brought before him,
was sentenced to be stoned.
They'd caught her in the very act
and justice would be done.
But the angry crowd was silenced
when they heard him gently say
Which of you is without sin ...
one by one they walked away.
And because she believed,
He did not condemn her,
but instead forgave her.
With all the love he had,
his life he gave for her.
And with that the debt was paid.
The thief that hung upon the
cross of Calvary that day
Said it is right that I am here,
but He has no debt to pay.
So with a heart of faith, he cried,
Lord remember me.
And Jesus answered gently,
Today in paradise you'll be.
And because he believed,
He did not condemn him,
but instead forgave him.
With all the love he had,
his life he gave for him.
And with that the debt was paid.
You are to him a precious lamb
that's wandered far away.
He wants to bring you
safely home again.
He is searching for you -
he is calling your name.
Oh won't you hear his gentle voice today?
And because you believed,
He will not condemn you,
but instead forgive you.
With all the love he had,
his life he gave for you.
And with that the debt was paid.
With his blood your debt was paid.
