God Has A Man
God has a man
for you
to reach out
and take hold of your hand
not to lead you
nor to be by you tugged
to side by side
to walk each mile
across life's multihued land
you will know
by the warmth of his smile
the twinkle
that comes to his eye
as you come near
and as he
holds you tenderly
passionately kisses you the same
your heart will say
this is he
and together you'll walk
maybe not
to fortune or fame
but the path of God's choosing
for this is how
it should be
for a woman and a man.
