Miranda
How swift the waters roll
to and fro
over rocks and ledge
so much
as the journey of love
itself
runs over rocks
and is tossed by the wind
but still
the woman
with the flowing hair
watches the
waves and the water
and thinks of
himself, her lover
and in the turbulence of life
her best friend
and waits for his return
to herself
Miranda
with true love as her goal.

Why I Wait For You
It's the little things you do
That make me wait for you
No one can make me feel
A passion so very real
The way you say my name
The gentle caress of your hand
As you kiss me upon this shore
Writing my name in the sand
A passionate embrace
Or a gentle hug
A tender kiss at the nape of my neck
The soft touch of your fingers on my face
As if to remember every trace...
The way you hold me tightly to your chest
Leaves me feeling so safe, so blessed
The way you gently stroke my brow
Making me feel loved then and now
It's all in the little things you do
That makes my love for you so true
And that is why...I will wait for you
