A Reality

Was it a dream
or reality
or my own grand wish
that my ears
heard your sweet voice
tender and true
saying to me
"I Love You"
for no matter the time
mid-day or night
whether prospects are dim
very gloomy
fear mixed with tear
or promises
of life full and bright
I still like to hear
"I Love You"
so here I ponder, wonder
and ask my ears
was it a lovely wish
a reality
or a heart felt dream.

Poet's Dream
Hearts and Temples

Temple meets temple
as heads
join to conspire
or together
a work of beauty make
one hand holds
hers
while the other
writes
words and verses
that speak
not only to the mind
but to her heart
and deep within a smile
is born
for this is something
not just for her
but a wonder created
and she has her own part
as she reflects
to him
the effect of his work
with hearts
rhythmically throbbing
their temples meet.

He is To Me....

His charm, his wit, his appealing smile
make the days and nights worthwhile
He brings with him sweet happiness
and my life , he does bless
He knows not his worth, his value to me
His friendship, his love
I cherish, now and
through out eternity.......

You Are...

You are God's arms for me
When I need a warm embrace
I can see his laughter in your eyes
His smile on your sweet face.

You are His protection
When my life has been touched by fear
You are his kind and compassionate voice
That gently calls me near.

You are his patient, loving ears
When all has gone wrong with my day
And I feel the need to shed some tears
You are the fingers that wipe them away.

You've been his shoulders and his chest
When on weary days, I needed to rest
You are his hand extended to me..
And my life, dear friend..you've blessed.
