How Sweet
How sweet to end any day
upon a pillow
near to a lover's head
where friendship
and passion are shared
and the worries
of the day are shed
as night beckons, "Come, rest"
no matter if the day
has been the worst or the best
How sweet the dawn
when bodies lay
side by side, warm, loving
to greet together
the coming of the day
reinforcing each the other
liking and loving
the world does not care
but two lives now intertwined
together burdens will bear
with love and prayer
making sweet the precious day.

Perfect Love
How blessed indeed are we
when someday True Love comes
not the kind that fades away
lasting love, as strong as death
A love many waters cannot quench
A love so perfect, divine
that will not be denied....
Death cannot steal it
Money cannot buy it
Rivers will not wash it away
It cannot be earned,
Yet many..this love in their
proud hearts have spurned
Yet the Pursuer will call
and will you hear it then?
Do not reject this perfect love
when it comes to call my friend.
For this love was bought with a price
By One that loves you..without end
not for anything you could have done
For all was done by Grace alone.
