Sweet Dreams

As you rest your headupon

your pillowso nice so very soft

where will your mind roam

while your bodyrests in bed

as if it is its own home?

will you seek mefind me

somewhere in your dreams

on a desert island

or high up along a mountain stream?

Will your arms reachout to me

and mine to you as we embrace

in love and our lips meet in that kiss

that forever will taste sweet

will our eyes reveal the depthof love

and of the passions that we feel

will we wonder if this is a dream

or if it is very real?

All of this I have in mind

when I wish you sweet dreams

but I desire that they become

a reality by tomorrow

as we then rest together,

head to head.

In Her Dreams

Sweet dreams are made of this

She remembers well his tender kiss

His hand's caress still fill her dreams

He's still close by, at least it seems

she can feel his touch, his love, his care

in her dreams, he's always there

to hold her close and not let go

his love, his passion, will ever show

Please do not wake her, let her dream on

In this place, she's not alone

for love, its own skills

does finely hone

as his presence she can nearly feel

Having him this close

Couldn't be more real

for true love resides forever

within the mind and
