There is no God?
There are those who say
there is no God...
That man has elvolved
from monkeys, fish or sod?
In the great sciences
I may not be schooled
But in matters of life and spirit
I am not fooled.........No GOD?
I see your beauty everywhere
Your grace, it touches me
I believe in you Lord, I believe
Your mercy is in everything I see
Water flowing to the edge of rocks and earth
and turning misty white....
as it returns to the air again
The wildlife comes to drink from the stream
You provide the way for them
Tall evergreens standing at the river's edge
regal and proud, but You gave them birth
Rising in their glory from seedlings in earth
The graceful seagull as it circles
high above in a sky so blue
How could I not believe in You?
No God?.....did I hear them say
How could they believe such a thing?
If we didn't acknowledge you,
the very rocks we climb would sing
The beauty of an Eagle as it soars
In a cloudless sky, a beautiful horizon
I see your handiwork in all that You do
The mossy valley floors, rolling hilltop peaks
Mountains in majesty, green grass, and flowers
powerful rivers, the mighty ocean, beautiful creeks
Mountain streams, moss covered trees
cannot keep silence, they must speak
Earth covered with trees, every color, every kind
Beautiful beaches, thundering breakers
as they land upon the shore, No God?
I see You in the beauty displayed in earth's glory
Creator of all..there is no other story
Majestic trees, green in the Spring begin to
unfold rainbows of fiery hues in the Fall
A single leaf, it's brief journey..swirling
caught up in the wind, dancing again before
it is returned to the dust of earth, place of it's birth
Songs of life, everywhere..dancing on the ground
a symphony with such glorious sound
And as the sun sets beyond the horizon
and the beauty of night comes yet once again
The stars set in place by Your very hand
A peace settles upon the dust of land
And the mountains, in majesty become silent
and silhouette against the night sky
A living testimony..your Word could never lie
The countless stars come out dazzling the earth
Displayed in the heavens and only You
know the greatness of their number
You who never sleeps or slumber
As a new day begins a journey to it's birth
It was You who fashioned this earth
When I walk through the forest
I feel you, in it's beauty I see you
The birds are singing, streams whispering
the rocks cry out, majestic mountains....
all your creation..by your hand alone
flowing rivers, rocks and cliffs
rains and snow, majestic jagged peaks
rising against the morning sky
and of Your beauty, creation speaks
Earth proclaims Your glory, Your holiness, your worth.
Yet... this is fallen creation, they say
We can only imagine what heaven must be like
and even that would not be enough..
For our minds are so finite, so limited
But Yours is not and I want your ways
to become my ways, my thoughts to become
like your thoughts....
For all of us who take for granted or
forgotten or maybe never knew
what it means to be Your beloved
Open our blind eyes, let us see
Your beauty is in all creation
No God? That could never be...
For your spirit lives forever in me.

Sir Isaac Newton had an accomplished artisan fashion for him a
small scale model of our solar system which was to be put in a
room in Newton's home when completed. The assignment was
finished and installed on a large table.
The workman had done a very commendable job, simulating not
only the various sizes of the planets and their relative
proximities, but also so constructing the model that everything
rotated and orbited when a crank was turned.
It was an interesting, even fascinating work, as you can image,
particularly to anyone schooled in the sciences.
A scientist-atheist friend of Newton's came by for a visit.
Seeing the model, he was naturally intrigued, and proceeded to
examine it with undisguised admiration for the high quality of
the workmanship.
"My! What an exquisite thing this is!" he exclaimed. "Who made it?"
Paying little attention to him, Sir Isaac answered, "Nobody."
Stopping his inspection, the visitor turned and said: "Evidently
you did not understand my question. I asked who made this?"
Newton, enjoying himself immensely no doubt, replied in a still
more serious tone. "Nobody. What you see just happened to assume
the form it now has."
"You must think I am a fool!" the visitor retorted heatedly, "Of
course somebody made it, and he is a genius, and I would like to
know who he is."
Newton then spoke to his friend in a polite yet firm way: "This
thing is but a puny imitation of a much grander universe whose
laws you know, and I am not able to convince you that this mere
toy is without a designer and maker; yet you profess to believe
that the great original from which the design is taken has come
into being without either designer or maker? Now tell me by what
sort of reasoning do you reach such an incongruous conclusion?"
